❓ Frequently Asked Questions — Group Fascial Maneuvers Classes
What Are Fascial Maneuvers?
Fascial Maneuvers are a movement philosophy that helps you heal by releasing your fascia. Developed by Human Garage in Vancouver in 2020, the practice has since spread globally, helping people reduce stress, release trauma, and restore balance. For more info, click HERE.
2. What Should I Wear To Class?
Just come in comfortable clothes you can move in 😊 You’re also welcome to bring a change of clothes — there’s a bathroom at the studio you can use if needed. The most important thing is that you feel relaxed and ready to move!
3. Can Anybody Join The Class?
Yes! These classes are for everyone and designed to help reduce stress. You’re welcome to do what you can — movements can be done standing, on a chair, or on the floor. Just come as you are and enjoy.
4. Do I Need Any Experience?
Not at all! Fascial Maneuvers are simple, gentle, and accessible. You’ll be guided step by step — no previous experience with fitness, yoga, or dance is required.
5. Do I Need To Bring Anything?
Just bring yourself, water, and an open mind.
6. How Are These Classes Different From Yoga or Stretching?
Great question! While yoga and stretching focus on flexibility or postures, Fascial Maneuvers work with the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds and weaves through your whole body. By applying gentle pressure, breath, and simple movements, we help the body release stored stress and trauma at the root. The result is deep relaxation, emotional release, and a lasting sense of balance.
7. What Should I Expect After A Session?
After a session you may feel lighter, calmer, or more open. Each body is unique — shifts keep unfolding for up to 72 hours. For more info, Click HERE.
