History of Human Garage Fascial Maneuvers in Vancouver

Fascial Maneuvers were born in Vancouver, BC, Canada in the summer of 2020, on the beaches of Kitsilano near the home of Lululemon founder Chip Wilson. Co-created by Gary, Cynthia, and Jason, the practice began as outdoor community classes that invited people to gather, move, and heal together. In September 2020, I attended my first class in Lions Bay and knew instantly: “I need to do this. I’m going to become a coach.”

From those beginnings, the community grew through seasons of outdoor gatherings, online pivots during winter, and global retreats. In November 2022, Gary entrusted me to lead Vancouver classes, and we finally secured an indoor home at the Capoeira Ache Brasil Academy.

Since then, I’ve been teaching twice a week (sometimes more!) and building a consistent, transformational community for almost three years.
