This guide is intended for clients who are new to Human Garage and its powerful modality, Fascial Maneuvers. These are practices I’ve been embodying since 2021. They’re POWERFUL tools to help you reconnect and heal yourself.

In this straightforward hydration guide, I discuss addressing chronic dehydration. Proper hydration is NOT about simply drinking large amounts of water. If you carry a large jug of water to the gym, you are likely quite dehydrated. To hydrate effectively, the water you consume should be structured. I recommend using a hydrogen water filter machine like Alkaviva from Shayne @h2waterexpert or Tech-Pro, a hydrogen inhalation Machine from Shayne & Louis.

Now let’s begin with the following essentials to improve your hydration:
Silica

Vitamins
1. Silica
Silica is a base element present in everyone from birth, but we are constantly depleted of it due to chemicals sprayed in the air, such as those found in chemtrails. These chemicals, including aluminum, barium, and strontium, reduce the silica levels in our bodies. Without adequate silica, our bodies cannot absorb minerals effectively. Insufficient minerals, in turn, hinder the absorption of vitamins. Without these three components, our bodies cannot properly absorb water to cleanse and replenish themselves. The unstructured water like tap water you drink may end up removing minerals as it passes through your body, leading to increased dehydration. Babies have more silica than calcium in their bodies, but as we age, the balance shifts to more calcium than silica. What does this indicate? When you feel tightness, your fascia may be tightening due to calcification.
Now, here’s the science side: Silica is essentially silicon dioxide (SiO₂), one of the most abundant minerals on Earth. It’s what makes up sand, quartz, and clay. You can also find it concentrated in plants like horsetail (Equisetum arvense) and deep-sea sources. Diatomaceous Earth (make sure it’s food grade) is a form of silica that comes from the fossilized remains of tiny aquatic organisms called diatoms. Over millions of years, their shells formed a soft white powder that looks like fine sand and contains about 70–90% amorphous silica. That’s the safe kind for humans to take—amorphous silica—not the crystalline silica used in industry. (Crystalline silica is the stuff that can damage the lungs if inhaled as dust in mines or factories. That’s where the lung disease warnings come from.)
So yes—if you tried to snort it like cocaine (don’t do that, haha), you’d definitely run into problems. But when it’s food-grade and taken properly, it’s safe, gentle, and supportive for fascia, skin, joints, and overall mineral balance. As avatars of the four elements—earth, water, air, and fire—it makes sense to me that we’re made of sand.
Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade is beneficial for hydrating your fascia, hair, and skin, eliminating parasites in your gut, and detoxifying heavy metals from your body. How powerful is that! Of course, there are many benefits. You can read this article that lists 31 benefits of Diatomaceous Earth.
Now, you can start taking your silica through Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade via a Human Garage supplement called Fascial Foundation or a bag of Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade available at health stores or even on Amazon. Here is the Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade brand I use from Amazon.
The recommended dose (choose one):
Fascial Foundation™ - 3 pills a day. (You can obtain it from my in-person Human Garage Vancouver Fascial Maneuvers classes or order it from humangarage.net.)
If using DE (Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade) powder from a bag, start with 1 tsp and gradually increase to 3-4 tsps daily. If you experience constipation or detox symptoms at 1 tsp, you can begin with ½ tsp. Remember to try a muscle test for your body! You can also add Diatomaceous Earth to your bath. Below is an excellent bath recipe, especially useful during detox:

Personally, I take both Fascial Foundation and Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade powder every day because I feel my body benefits from it.

2. Minerals
For minerals, I recommend Sea Moss. Early in my journey, I was advised to take trace minerals, which I tried, but they can't compare to the mineral content of Sea Moss! Sea Moss contains 92 of the 102 minerals found in the body. It's an excellent mineral source for your daily intake. You'll notice a significant difference over time. If silica is the base for your fascia, minerals can lubricate that fascia to enhance flow in your body!
There are 3 ways you can get your minerals:

Freeze-dried Sea Moss from Survival Moss. If you're in the Vancouver area, you can also pick up raw sea moss gel from them. – 2-4 scoops a day.

3. Vitamins

CLOSING:
I personally take more of these 3 elements (silica, minerals, and vitamins) when detoxing. You can try muscle testing to determine your appropriate dosage. Always use your discernment.
Remember: fascia is composed of 70% water and silica. Nothing functions properly if you are dehydrated. Hydrate and move your fascia for effective healing!

💧 My Journey with Fascia, Inflammation & Self-Worth
When I first began this journey, I had nothing fancy.
I used to drink tap water—really.
And at the time, that’s all I knew.
But what I didn’t realize was that even small steps—like doing a few fascial maneuvers here and there—would start to unwind my stress, change how I saw myself, and slowly open the door to deeper healing.
As I released stress from my fascia, I began to feel myself again.
My perception expanded.
I became kinder to myself.
I started noticing my own patterns, asking:
“Why am I doing this to hurt myself?”
That self-awareness was the first turning point.
And eventually, I realized:
I am worthy of care.
I deserve to feel good.
So one day, I looked at the hydrogen water machine and said:
“Yes, it’s an investment. But I’m worth it. My body deserves this.”
That shift didn’t happen overnight—it happened through the journey.
If you’re just beginning, you don’t need to buy everything at once.
Start small. Start with silica(or Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade), or begin by drinking better quality water.
Let your journey grow with your self-love.
Because the more you love yourself, the more you’ll naturally align with what supports your well-being.
