You Can’t Fake Embodiment: What Building Human Garage Vancouver Revealed to Me in 6 Years

In 2020, Human Garage arrived in Vancouver.

At the time, I had already spent more than two decades as a professional dancer, choreographer, and movement educator. Movement was my language. The body was my teacher.

When I first encountered Fascial Maneuvers, I was curious. The movements were simple, yet people were experiencing profound shifts in their bodies.

What I did not realize then was that this work would become part of my life for years to come.

While the Human Garage team introduced the work, I became one of the people responsible for bringing it to life in Vancouver.

Week after week, class after class, student after student, I helped build and sustain what became Human Garage Vancouver.

Six years later, after teaching hundreds of classes, facilitating workshops, and supporting countless one-on-one clients, I can say this with certainty:

You can’t fake embodiment.

The fascia always knows.

Building a Community, Not Just Teaching a Method

When people think about Fascial Maneuvers, they often think about the movements.

What I witnessed over the years was something much bigger.

People came to class looking for relief from pain.

They came looking for mobility.

They came looking for answers.

But many of them found something else.

They found a deeper relationship with themselves.

Human Garage Vancouver became more than a place to learn Fascial Maneuvers.

It became a place where people could slow down, reconnect, and begin listening to their bodies again.

Over time, I realized I was not simply teaching a method.

I was helping create a space where people felt safe enough to soften.

The Difference Between Information and Embodiment

One of the most important lessons I learned from building Human Garage Vancouver is that information and embodiment are not the same thing.

A person can memorize movements.

A person can memorize language.

A person can repeat teachings.

But embodiment cannot be copied.

The body responds to presence.

The body responds to honesty.

The body responds to what is real.

Again and again, I watched students arrive wanting to learn a technique, only to discover they were actually learning how to listen.

Not to me.

To themselves.

The fascia has a remarkable way of revealing what we have been avoiding, suppressing, or pushing through.

Eventually, what is hidden becomes visible.

What Six Years of Teaching Revealed

The greatest lessons did not come from certification manuals.

They came from repetition.

From showing up every week.

From teaching when classes were full.

From teaching when only a few people came.

From listening to hundreds of stories and observing hundreds of bodies.

I began noticing patterns.

Different people.

Different backgrounds.

Different ages.

Yet the same themes appeared again and again.

Stress.

Protection.

Over-efforting.

Disconnection.

A habit of overriding the body’s signals.

The body was always communicating.

The challenge was learning how to listen.

What Dance Prepared Me to Understand

Long before Human Garage, dance taught me that the body never lies.

You can see it in movement.

You can feel it in posture.

You can hear it in breath.

Years of teaching Fascial Maneuvers confirmed what dance had already shown me.

The body is constantly speaking.

Tension speaks.

Pain speaks.

Restriction speaks.

Exhaustion speaks.

The question is not whether the body is communicating.

The question is whether we are willing to hear what it is saying.

The Body Does Not Need More Force

Perhaps the biggest shift in my understanding was realizing that many people do not need more force.

They need more safety.

Our culture often teaches us to push harder.

Work harder.

Do more.

Try harder.

Yet what I witnessed over and over again was the opposite.

When people felt safe enough to soften, their systems began to reorganize naturally.

Not because someone fixed them.

Not because someone forced change.

But because the body finally felt heard.

This principle eventually became one of the foundations of my own work as Fascia Oracle™.

I do not believe transformation comes from fixing people.

I believe transformation begins when people reconnect with themselves.

Human Garage Was Part of the Journey

Human Garage played an important role in my path.

It gave me a framework for understanding experiences I had already been exploring through movement and dance for decades.

But over time, my work expanded beyond the framework itself.

The deeper lesson was never about memorizing maneuvers.

The deeper lesson was about embodiment.

About awareness.

About learning to trust the wisdom of the body.

About recognizing that healing, movement, emotion, and presence are all connected.

This understanding eventually evolved into my work in Fascial Embodiment and my path as Fascia Oracle™.

Six Years Later

When I look back on the journey, I do not think first about certifications, milestones, or accomplishments.

I think about the people.

The conversations after class.

The breakthroughs.

The tears.

The laughter.

The moments when someone realized they could finally feel a part of themselves they had been disconnected from for years.

Those moments are what stay with me.

Human Garage Vancouver was never just about teaching movements.

For me, it became a living laboratory for understanding the relationship between fascia, movement, awareness, and transformation.

Six years later, the lesson remains the same.

You can’t fake embodiment.

Eventually, the body reveals the truth.

The fascia remembers.

The body remembers.

And when we are willing to listen, it often shows us the way home.

Beyond Technique: Why My Fascial Embodiment™ Sessions Are Guided by Discernment

My sessions are not driven by technique.

Technique matters, but it is not what leads the work.

The work is driven by discernment.

Every body is different. Every nervous system is different. Every person arrives with a unique history of holding, protecting, adapting, and surviving.

With some clients, softening is the medicine.

With others, the system has become so accustomed to holding that a clearer signal is needed. Not force. Not aggression. Not fixing. Simply a more distinct invitation.

My role is to listen.

To observe.

To feel what the body is communicating.

And then respond.

Sometimes that response is gentle. Sometimes it is direct. Sometimes it is movement. Sometimes it is stillness.

Over the years, I have learned to trust what I am sensing rather than force a technique onto a body.

I don’t make the body follow the work.

I let the work pull itself.

When I stop trying to prove, fix, or perform, something remarkable happens. The body begins to reveal what it has been waiting to say all along.

I don’t heal.

I don’t fix.

I offer presence.

I listen.

I respond.

And together, we create the conditions for the body to remember its own wisdom.

Sometimes the body doesn’t need more effort.

It is simply waiting for permission to stop fighting itself.

We’re not at war.

We can make peace with ourselves and our bodies.

Much love,

Ikue | Fascia Oracle™💃💞

Moving Through Geometry: When the Body Becomes Intelligent

The other day, something shifted in my ballet practice.

My teacher, Lorelai, said:

“Position is not placement. We are always passing through it.”

And suddenly, I could feel what that meant.

I wasn’t placing my body into shapes anymore.

I was moving through a living grid.

Geometry is not visual. It’s felt.

Sagittal. Frontal. Diagonal.

These aren’t fixed planes I try to align with.

They are pathways.

Corridors of movement that appear when my body stops forcing and starts listening.

When I feel these lines, my body becomes intelligent—not because I’m thinking, but because something deeper begins to organize itself.

Movement starts to route through me.

The hollow lens

When I moved into second position, my belly didn’t tighten.

It emptied.

It became a hollow lens—like a quiet dome inside my center.

From that emptiness, my leg didn’t lift through effort.

It was suspended.

There was no gripping. No pushing.

Just a responsive connection from the center outward.

Then, when I moved into derrière, the sensation shifted.

The lens flipped.

My front body gathered slightly—not as tension, but as a temporary organization—to support that hollow space now moving backward.

It wasn’t about engaging the “right” muscles.

It was the axis rotating.

Passing through the grid

Each position stopped being a destination.

Instead, it became a moment I moved through.

Devant. Second. Derrière.

Not shapes to hold—but coordinates in motion.

When I stop inside a position, the body compresses.

The fascia densifies.

But when I keep moving through it, something else happens.

The body spirals.

The fascia responds like water—fluid, adaptive, continuous.

Fascia as shape-shifting intelligence

Fascia doesn’t want to be controlled.

It wants continuity.

When I move through geometry instead of trying to “get it right,” my body begins to organize itself.

Spiraling instead of segmenting.

Suspending instead of gripping.

Transmitting instead of holding.

This is where shape-shifting begins.

Not from forcing positions—but from allowing movement to travel through a coherent pathway.

Living architecture

What I touched today wasn’t just better technique.

It was access.

I wasn’t dancing positions.

I was moving through architecture.

A living system of lines, axes, and spirals that my body could feel, respond to, and reorganize within.

And in that space, something becomes clear:

The intelligence was always there.

The moment I stop interfering—

the body remembers.

Fascia Oracle™ reflection

I don’t fix the body.

I don’t force alignment.

I listen.

When the center becomes empty, the system reorganizes.

When movement flows through geometry, the body becomes intelligent.

And when the body feels safe enough to move continuously—

it doesn’t just perform.

It transforms.

Letting Go Is Not Giving Up

People often misunderstand letting go.

They think letting go means:

forgetting,

stopping loving,

pretending it never mattered,

or forcing forgiveness before the body is ready.

But true letting go is something very different.

Letting go is not giving up.

It is the moment the body no longer organizes itself around pain.

You can still remember.

You can still love.

You can still honor what was real.

But your nervous system no longer needs to grip the wound in order to survive.

That is what many people are truly craving:

not forgetting —

but freedom from carrying.

Because carrying takes energy.

The fascia carries.

The jaw carries.

The chest carries.

The hips carry.

The nervous system carries.

Over time, the body can become loyal to the pain because it built an identity around it.

The abandoned one.

The betrayed one.

The overgiver.

The one who holds everything together.

The one who waits.

The one who keeps carrying everyone emotionally.

And eventually the body asks:

“What would happen if I stopped carrying this?”

This is where embodiment begins.

Letting go is not denying reality.

It is accepting what happened without allowing it to define your entire body forever.

It is saying:

“Yes, this happened.

Yes, it mattered.

Yes, I felt it deeply.

And I no longer want my body to suffer every single day because of it.”

That is not weakness.

That is wisdom.

Letting go is also understanding that peace is not betrayal.

Many people unconsciously believe:

“If I stop hurting, it means it didn’t matter.”

But that is not true.

You are allowed to heal.

You are allowed to soften.

You are allowed to feel light again.

We all deserve to feel good.

Not someday.

Not after proving ourselves.

Not after carrying everyone else.

Now.

Sometimes letting go is simply allowing life to move again.

Allowing breath back into the chest.

Movement back into the fascia.

Trust back into the nervous system.

And real love does not disappear through letting go.

If something is truly aligned for your path,

it will deepen,

return,

transform,

or remain naturally.

And if it falls away,

the body no longer needs to collapse trying to hold it in place.

That is not failure.

That is space.

Letting go is not becoming cold.

It is becoming free enough to love without losing yourself.

✨ Letting go is trusting life again.

✨ Letting go is allowing peace into the body.

✨ Letting go is choosing aliveness over chronic contraction.

✨ Letting go is remembering that feeling good is safe.

And sometimes,

the greatest healing is simply this:

“I can still love…

without carrying the weight of suffering anymore.”

🌸 Urge vs. Urgency: Moving from Somatic Truth Instead of Panic

Not everything fast is urgent.

Some things move quickly because they’re true.

As someone who lives and leads from the body, I’ve learned to feel the difference between urgency and urge. It’s subtle, but powerful. One tightens the fascia. The other frees it. And when you move from the right one, your entire reality recalibrates.

🌪 Urgency is Fight-or-Flight Dressed Up as Productivity

We’re taught to glorify urgency.

To rush. To hustle. To keep up with timelines that weren’t even made for our nervous system.

Urgency comes from fear—of being late, missing out, disappointing others, or not being enough.

It shows up in the body as tension, breathlessness, and tight fascia.

And even when it looks productive on the outside, it’s reactive on the inside.

It says:

“Move now or else.”

This is the root of burnout. Of disconnection. Of living out of sync with your own timing.

💗 Urge is a Somatic Yes

Then there’s urge—the quiet, clear pulse that rises from deep within.

It doesn’t scream. It doesn’t rush. But it’s unmistakably alive.

Urge is what happens when your body, heart, and field align with divine timing.

It feels like:

“Yes. Now. Because it’s true.”

It’s not performative. It’s not forced.

It’s felt.

And when you follow it, everything flows—because you’re not fighting time, you’re dancing with it.

🌊 Embodiment Means Knowing the Difference

Today I followed the urge.

Not the urgency.

And it made all the difference.

I took action—not from panic, but from peace.

And the result? Ease. Flow. Alignment.

This is leadership from the body.

This is what it means to be anchored in fascia, not force.

💬 What about you?

What are you being urged to do—not out of pressure, but out of love?

Can you pause before you act, and feel:

Is this urgency, or is this urge?

Your body already knows.

Let it lead.

🌸 Join my weekly classes in Vancouver or tune into my daily Instagram Lives for more embodied teachings.

You don’t need to rush to arrive—you just need to move in truth.

Intuition with Boundaries. Feeling with Power — You get to feel everything without carrying anything.

Today is 25° Scorpio Day.

The Medicine of 25° Scorpio

The Sun at 25° Scorpio is no longer afraid of the dark.

This is not the beginning of transformation — it’s the completion.

The final decan of Scorpio teaches:

“You’ve already died. Now choose what stays.”

This is the part of you that’s been tested.

That’s seen the shadow.

That knows what betrayal feels like — and chooses truth anyway.

Your fascia remembers the betrayals.

The grip of old patterns.

The ancestral tension that clings to your spine and solar plexus.

But 25° Scorpio says:

Let it go.

Not because it didn’t matter.

But because you matter more.

🧬 The Power of Somatic Discernment

This is a boundary-setting portal, but not one built on walls.

This is fascia logic: you soften to discern.

You feel clearly, not excessively.

You sense what’s aligned — not what’s loud.

Today you may feel:

• Sudden inner clarity

• A desire to clear out, clean, or detox

• Emotions rising up from the pelvis or throat

• A deep urge to reclaim your power, voice, or space

Your body knows.

Your fascia knows.

Your truth has weight. Let it take up space.

🌀 What This Day Means for You (Lighthouse Transmission)

You are the Lighthouse.

Not because you are unaffected — but because you’ve felt it all, and still choose the light.

This day is about claiming your essence without explanation.

You no longer need to perform intuition.

You no longer need to suffer to be spiritual.

You no longer need to prove your depth through pain.

This is sacred shedding.

This is emotional detox.

This is nervous system sovereignty.

🌿 Embodiment Suggestions

Fascia Maneuvers: Focus on the front body — soften chest, pelvis, and jaw.

Voice Activation: Speak what’s true, even if it’s simple.

Journal Prompt: What truth do I already know that I’ve been afraid to own?

Water Ritual: Soak, sweat, or bathe with the intention: “I keep what is mine. I release what is not.”

Final Words:

The Sun at 25° Scorpio is your permission slip.

To clear the field.

To say no without guilt.

To stand in your body — fully, fiercely, without apology.

You are the vessel.

You are the signal.

You are the Lighthouse.

🌟 SPIRITUAL SOVEREIGNTY IN THE AGE OF AQUARIUS — You Don’t Carry What Isn’t Yours.

The Age of Aquarius Isn’t About Ascending Above Your Life—It’s About Returning to Yourself.

Something shifted on the planet.

You can feel it in your fascia.

You can feel it in the way your body responds to truth,

and recoils from distortion.

We’re not here to outsource our intuition,

or contort ourselves to be loved,

or carry other people’s emotions in our ribs just to feel safe.

That era is over.

That was Pisces—martyrdom, hierarchy, sacrifice.

Aquarius brings something else entirely:

Sovereignty.

Embodiment.

Self-responsibility.

Truth over performance.

Alignment over approval.

You came here sovereign.

You stay sovereign.

🌬️ What Spiritual Sovereignty Actually Means

Sovereignty is not separation.

It’s self-possession.

It’s knowing:

• You can love people deeply

• …without becoming responsible for their feelings

• You can hold space

• …without absorbing their wounds

• You can lead

• …without carrying them on your back

• You can care

• …without collapsing your boundaries

Sovereignty means:

Your emotions are yours.

Theirs are theirs.

Your purpose does not depend on anyone else validating it.

Your safety is not earned through self-sacrifice.

Your worth is not negotiated through labor.

You arrived on this planet with permission.

You were enough the moment you took your first breath.

💠 You Don’t Have to Carry Anyone’s Story in Your Body

Many of us were taught:

“To prove you’re good,

to prove you’re loyal,

to prove you belong—

you have to carry the weight of others.”

Your spine learned to bow.

Your fascia learned to hold grief that wasn’t yours.

Your inner child learned that love equals overextension.

But the truth is simple:

You can love someone without becoming their container.

You can walk with someone without being their crutch.

You can support someone without dissolving your own boundaries.

In Aquarius, the spiritual law is clear:

Carry only what your soul chose—

not what others handed you.

🌿 You Don’t Have to Earn Your Place on Earth

This is the deepest lie many of us absorbed:

“You have to try hard, work hard, prove hard,

to deserve to be here.”

But you didn’t incarnate to earn your existence.

You arrived worthy.

You arrived protected.

You arrived guided.

You arrived purposeful.

Your job is not to earn safety.

Your job is to remember it.

Your belonging is not conditional.

It is cellular.

You don’t climb into worthiness.

You awaken into it.

🔥 Old Paradigm vs. New Paradigm

Old World (Pisces):

– Gurus

– Hierarchies

– Dependence

– Waiting for permission

– Outsourcing intuition

– Carrying everyone’s expectations

– Healing as sacrifice

Age of Aquarius:

– Sovereign beings

– Inner compass

– Self-leadership

– Clean boundaries

– Fascia-based truth

– Embodied intuition

– Support without entanglement

This is the shift your fascia has been preparing you for.

💎 The Life Purpose You Came Here With

Every single person incarnates with a reason—

not to chase external validation,

not to mimic someone else’s timeline,

not to climb someone’s spiritual ladder.

You came here with a geometry in your body,

a frequency in your fascia,

a song in your bones

that only you can express.

No one else can fulfill your purpose for you.

No one else can accelerate your destiny.

No one else can take responsibility for your unfolding.

Your soul leads.

Your body listens.

Your path reveals itself as you walk it.

🌊 Going Inward Is the New Way Forward

This is the era of:

• Listening to the body

• Trusting the breath

• Moving with truth

• Following instinct

• Honoring boundaries

• Returning inward

• Choosing integrity

• Leading by example

The strongest leaders of the Age of Aquarius

are not the loudest.

They are the clearest.

The most sovereign.

The most embodied.

The most aligned.

You Are Sovereign, Now and Always

You don’t need to earn your existence.

You don’t need to prove your worth.

You don’t need to carry others to feel deserving.

You came here with all the right to:

• feel guided

• feel protected

• feel held

• feel enough

• feel safe

• feel worthy

Your sovereignty is your birthright.

Return to yourself.

Return to your fascia.

Return to your truth.

That is where the Age of Aquarius begins.

Much love,

🍳 The Morning My Mom Overslept: A Boiled Egg and the Weight of Invisible Love

I was just eating dinner — a simple bowl of leftover rice, dumplings, and a boiled egg I’d cooked for myself.

And somewhere between bites, a memory rose up from my fascia like steam from the pot.

I remembered a morning from my childhood.

My mother had overslept. There was no miso soup on the table — just plain rice and a boiled egg.

At the time, I didn’t have the words for what I was feeling.

But I remember the disappointment.

I remember thinking, “Isn’t this her job? Why didn’t she make soup?”

I was upset. I didn’t understand. I even felt abandoned.

And now — decades later — I do understand it.

That boiled egg was still love.

That rice was still her showing up.

She may have been tired. Overworked. Holding too much.

But she still gave something. She still fed me.

And I took it for granted.

🕊️ When Women Are Taken for Granted

That moment — that boiled egg morning — became a mirror for something bigger.

A realization rippled through me:

My mother, like so many women, gave endlessly.

And most of it was invisible.

She didn’t ask for praise. She didn’t perform.

She just did it. Quietly. Consistently. Lovingly.

Until the day she overslept — and I noticed, not because I was grateful, but because I expected.

How many women have been seen only in their absence?

How many hearts are only acknowledged when the warmth is gone?

🔥 Sacred Rage, Sacred Grief

As I cooked my own boiled egg tonight, I felt something move in my body.

A kind of sacred rage.

Not just at myself, or at the past —

but at all the ways love labor has been expected, exploited, and ignored.

And not just by children.

By partners.

By institutions.

By entire systems.

I thought of every person who once sat at my table —

fed by my presence, anchored by my field —

and never truly saw what I was holding.

Until I left.

🌺 A Boiled Egg Is a Ritual Now

Tonight, this meal became more than food.

It became a ceremony.

I honored my mother.

I forgave my younger self.

I cried for all the women who boiled eggs when they were exhausted.

And I claimed this truth:

I am no longer invisible.

My love is not silent.

I get paid to receive.

If you’ve ever felt taken for granted…

If your offerings were only noticed when they stopped…

I see you.

And if you’re reading this over your own boiled egg…

May it nourish not just your body,

but the lineage you come from.

Much love,

Ikue Ueno | Fascia Oracle™

When You Force Nothing, Everything Opens

There’s a difference between stretching and softening.

Between pushing the body into shapes and listening for when the body says yes.

Lately, I’ve been feeling that difference in my own hips, my own hair, my own heartbeat.

Even as I stretch, I’m not “stretching” —

I’m inviting.

Because when you force nothing,

everything opens.

I’ve taken classes before — yoga flows, stretch sequences, perfectly choreographed arcs.

And I appreciate them.

I respect the skill.

But my path is different.

My truth moves another way.

My fascia doesn’t respond to flow —

it responds to freedom.

To deep listening.

To the moment my body trusts that it won’t be forced.

And that’s what I teach.

Not movement for movement’s sake —

but movement as a portal into safety.

When I guide a session — whether in a group or 1:1 — I’m not looking to stretch your hamstrings.

I’m here to hold a field where your body can finally stop bracing.

Where your fascia says, “I’m ready.”

Where your nervous system doesn’t just “relax,” but reorganizes itself.

You’ll know you’re in the right place when:

• You start breathing differently

• The stretch feels like a sigh, not a strain

• Something deep lets go — and you didn’t even try

This isn’t yoga.

This isn’t flow.

This isn’t coaching.

This is unforced opening.

This is the core of what I call the EQA Method™.

It stands on this truth:

“When you force nothing, everything opens.”

Let your fascia lead.

Let your body decide.

Let yourself feel safe enough… to open from the inside out.

Because real movement doesn’t need to be pushed.

It just needs to be heard.

Much love,

🌊✨Fascia is the Instrument: Resonating with the Flow of Life

Have you ever noticed how some dancers look like they are the music, while others look like they’re just “on top” of it? The difference isn’t talent, and it isn’t years of training — it’s fascia.

Fascia is more than connective tissue. It’s the resonance chamber of the body. When fascia is tight, rhythm gets trapped. The music might enter your ears, but it can’t vibrate through your system. When fascia is supple, your body becomes an instrument — alive, resonant, ready to sing back through every gesture and every step.

From Conquering to Flowing

So many dancers (and movers in life) try to “conquer” rhythm. They fight to be on beat, to dominate the music, to perform it with force. That creates tension, and the dance feels separate from the sound.

But when fascia flows, something very different happens. You don’t conquer rhythm — you become rhythm. Your body stops bracing and starts resonating. Movement turns into dialogue, not domination. The music enters, and you answer back without trying.

Resonance and Freedom

Supple fascia is the key to freedom in movement. When the fascia is hydrated, flexible, and alive, any rhythm that touches you can spark expression. Fast or slow, heavy or light, small or expansive — your body can adapt and respond.

It’s like a piano: when the strings are tuned, it doesn’t matter what key you press — the note rings clear. Your fascia is the same. When it flows, every beat resonates, and you are free to create endless pathways.

This is why fascia work is so essential. It doesn’t just release pain or tension — it awakens resonance. It gives you the capacity to move with music, with life, in a way that feels effortless and true.

The Flow of Life

When you stop fighting and start resonating, you discover the essence of movement: the flow of life itself.

My fascia is my instrument.

As it flows, I resonate.

I don’t conquer rhythm — I become rhythm.

I am the flow of life.

This is the heart of my practice as a dancer and Fascia Oracle™. It’s not about proving, performing, or pushing. It’s about becoming supple enough to let rhythm, energy, and life move through you.

That’s when dance becomes not just movement, but medicine.

✨ If you want to experience this for yourself — whether you’re a dancer, mover, or simply someone longing to feel more free in your body — join me for Fascial Maneuvers and embodiment classes. Together, we’ll soften the fascia, unlock resonance, and discover the rhythm of your own flow.

De-traumatizing Your Hips: Learning to Be Held

So often we think of hip stretches as just about flexibility. But our hips are also one of the deepest storage places for stress, fear, and trauma. Recently, while waiting for my Capoeira class to begin, I lay down on the studio floor, crossed my legs, and let my hips start to release. I didn’t realize until that moment how much my body was still holding — not just for me, but for everyone else I’ve carried.

The Hidden Trauma in the Hips

Our fascia and muscles adapt every time we feel unsafe. We grip, clench, and brace as a way to stabilize ourselves in the world. Over time, these patterns create tightness and even pain in the hips. What I discovered is that it’s not just physical. My body was gripping to protect me emotionally — holding fear, bracing against uncertainty, trying to feel safe when proof wasn’t there.

From Holding to Being Held

True safety doesn’t come from tightening. It comes from remembering that you don’t have to hold everything alone. You can soften. You can trust the ground beneath you. You can be held. This shift is not about eliminating all fear from life — it’s about building the capacity to feel safe even when challenges arise.

Faith is what allows us to rest into the body and the earth, even when external circumstances don’t yet reflect the safety we long for.

A Practice for Hip Release

One simple way to begin:

  • Lie down on the floor.

  • Cross your legs in a comfortable position.

  • Breathe deeply into your hips, noticing where you grip.

  • With every exhale, allow one more layer of tension to melt.

This practice isn’t about force. It’s about listening and allowing your body to show you what it’s ready to release. Click HERE for more info.

Closing Reflection

My hips are slowly de-traumatizing. Every time I soften, I reclaim more of myself. Every time I release, I learn that I don’t have to hold it all — I can be held. This journey is a reminder that healing isn’t just about stretching fascia, but about deep trust: trust in the body, trust in the ground, and trust in the unseen support that carries us.

🌿 The Calm After the Storm: How Releasing Wounds Creates True Neutrality

Yesterday I got triggered, and the emotions came flooding in. I cried, I shook, and for a moment it felt like the wound was fresh again. But instead of pushing it away or pretending I was fine, I let myself feel it. I let the tears move through my body until they softened into something else.

That’s the truth about “letting go.” It’s not about pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s not about bypassing or rushing past the feelings. Letting go happens when we allow ourselves to remember, to feel, and to release — so the charge can finally leave the body.

When we carry old wounds, our fascia, our nervous system, and even our aura hold on tightly. Those unprocessed moments become hooks — places where projections, criticisms, and echoes of the past can still land.

Releasing isn’t about thinking our way through it. It’s about giving our bodies permission to process. The tears, the shaking, the breath, the ache — all of that is part of the release. It may feel stormy, but when the body has metabolized the emotion, something shifts.

What’s left is neutrality. The calm after the storm. A deep clarity where the wound is no longer in charge of our story. From this space, projections no longer stick. Old triggers lose their grip. We step into a balance where presence itself becomes our shield.

This is the paradox of healing: the way to truly let go is to fully let ourselves feel. And when the body finishes its work, we emerge softer, steadier, and freer.

Letting go isn’t forgetting. It’s remembering with enough tenderness that the memory no longer hurts.

🌗 Polarity, Sacred Yes & Divine No: Finding Balance Through Muscle Testing

Life is full of polarity. Yin and yang. Light and dark. Feminine and masculine. Yes and no.

For a long time, I believed polarity meant opposition — that one side had to be right and the other wrong. But the truth I’ve embodied through fascia, movement, and daily practice is this: polarity is not about judgment. It is about balance.

The Circle of Polarity

Imagine a circle — two sides of the same coin. On one side: yes. On the other: no. When you choose one, you naturally decline the other. This is not rejection. It is alignment.

Every time you say yes, you are saying no to something else. Every time you say no, you are saying yes to what truly matters.

That’s why our yes becomes sacred. Our no becomes divine. Both are doorways into alignment.

💓 Listening to the Heart

But how do you know which side to choose? How do you trust your yes or your no?

This is where the wisdom of the body comes in. Tools like muscle testing are a way to bypass the overthinking mind and listen directly to the fascia, the nervous system, and the heart.

When your body softens and flows, that’s a yes. When it tightens, braces, or feels heavy, that’s a no. Muscle testing is not about logic — it’s about truth, felt in the tissues of your being.

🌊 From Fear to Freedom

I used to say yes to everything out of fear — fear of missing out, fear of disappointing others, fear of losing opportunities. But what I discovered is that every time I forced a yes, I drained myself.

Now, I see every no as a sacred boundary that honors my energy, my mission, and my joy. Every no creates space for the yes that expands me.

Saying no doesn’t close doors. It opens the right ones.

🌟 Embodying Polarity

The dance of polarity is not static. Sometimes the yes becomes a no, sometimes the no becomes a yes. It shifts with the moment. Polarity is alive, and the heart is the compass.

When we trust our fascia, our body, and our intuition, decision-making becomes effortless. Each yes and no becomes an act of devotion — not just to ourselves, but to the greater balance of life.

🔑 Key Takeaway

Your yes is sacred. Your no is divine.

Polarity is not about choosing sides forever — it’s about aligning with truth in each moment. And when you listen to your fascia and your heart, you will always know which way to flow.

🌊 The Art of Micro-Bending: Flow, Fascia, and the Wisdom of Surrender

We live in a world that constantly tells us to hold it together.

Stand tall. Grip harder. Don’t wobble. Don’t fall.

But what if true stability doesn’t come from bracing — but from softening?

Learning vs. Responsibility

One of the biggest lessons I’ve been anchoring lately is this: learning is not the same as responsibility.

When we learn, we receive.

When we take responsibility, we carry.

During a recent live, I felt that old impulse to carry the weight of someone else’s expectation. But then I remembered: I don’t have to confuse the two. I can learn from the moment, soften my fascia, and stay in flow — without picking up something that isn’t mine.

This is the micro-bend of life.

The Dance Teacher’s Wisdom

My friend Jojo, when he teaches heels class — where we dance in high heels, which can be extra challenging — always says:

“Micro-bend your knees!”

When we’re up on heels, the natural reflex is to grip, stiffen, and lock the knees so we don’t wobble. But the truth? Locking actually makes us less stable.

That micro-bend creates flow and balance. It keeps you supple, alive, and supported.

My ballet teacher, Loreli, used to remind me of the same thing with my arms: never to over-extend. In ballet, over-extending the elbows looks strong from the outside, but it cuts off energy. When you micro-bend the elbow instead, not only is the line more beautiful — the energy also flows freely.

This is fascia wisdom in motion: over-extension blocks. Micro-bending opens.

Over-Extension in Life

We’ve all been taught to over-extend:

• Over-extend your schedule.

• Over-extend your giving.

• Over-extend your responsibilities.

It looks like strength on the outside, but it cuts off flow on the inside.

When we leave space — just a little wiggle room, just a micro-bend — everything shifts. Energy returns. Breath returns. Beauty returns.

Anchored in Mother Earth

Here’s the deeper truth: you don’t need to hold yourself up at all.

Mother Earth is already holding you.

The more you surrender, the more you remember: you are already anchored, loved, and cared for. Your job is not to brace. Your job is to flow.

Flow Is the Balance

Life isn’t about avoiding contraction or chasing expansion. Both are natural.

The key is not to get stuck — not to freeze in one mode. Flow is the art of balance, breath by breath, moment by moment.

Just as we soften our knees, our elbows, our fascia — we soften in life. We stop over-extending, and we begin to flow.

Closing Transmission

We are not designed to hold ourselves up by force.

We are designed to flow, to micro-bend, and to be held by the Earth.

The more we soften, the more beauty, ease, and energy return to us.

Much love,

💧From Storage to Flow: The Power of Floating with Integrity

The Threshold Moment

For so long, many of us have lived like storage units — holding on to emotions, stories, and blockages in our fascia. But the truth is, our fascia is not designed to store. It’s designed to transmit light.

This is a declaration point:

✨ “I graduate from storage into flow. My fascia is a channel of truth.”

Fascia as a Crystal Grid

Our fascia is a multi-layered crystal grid that perceives, refracts, and transmits light.

  • When it’s congested, the light distorts.

  • When it’s cleansed and lubricated, light moves through in its purest form.

This is why movement, breath, and fascia release are sacred: they clear the grid so we can perceive truth and navigate life with more flow.

And notice the English word light. It means both illumination and weightlessness. That’s exactly what our fascia is here to embody — transmitting illumination while carrying us with ease.

Floating ≠ Ungrounded

When I say “our job is to float,” I don’t mean drifting without ground or purpose.

Floating here means:

  • 🌊 Feeling everything without judgment

  • 🛡 Protecting your integrity

  • 🌿 Organizing your trust and flow

Floating is surrendering into trust.

It’s knowing you are safe, loved, and guided.

It’s anchoring not in fear or control, but in the deep knowing that your life is meant for joy and your body is a vessel for light.

Floating is not without anchor — the anchor is trust.

A Story of Surrender

A dear friend once jumped off a ferry during a difficult moment. At first, he tried desperately to swim back to the boat — impossible against the tide. When he finally surrendered, he floated. He began to count his blessings. And in that surrender, rescue came.

This is the teaching:

When we struggle, we drown.

When we float, we are carried.

Embody Your True Essence

The invitation is simple yet profound:

💫 Release the weight.

💫 Cleanse your crystal grid.

💫 Float with trust, not fear.

You are safe. You are loved. You are guided. Your essence is undeniable.

🌟 Mantra for Today

“I graduate from storage into flow.

My fascia is a crystal grid of light.

I feel, I protect, I organize.

I float because I trust.

My essence is undeniable.”

Softening Through Safety: How the Body Finds Its Truth

Once you feel safe, you can soften.

And when you soften… your true self can finally breathe.

So many of us move through life in armor—tense shoulders, tight jaws, braced hips. This armor didn’t appear by accident. It was formed by experiences where we didn’t feel safe to be fully ourselves.

But here’s the truth: we don’t release the armor by force.

We dissolve it with safety, presence, and truth.

Your body doesn’t need fixing. It isn’t broken.

What it longs for is to feel safe enough to be real.

When safety enters, the body begins to unwind on its own. Fascia softens. Breath deepens. The nervous system exhales. This is when true healing happens—not because we pushed for it, but because the body finally felt it could let go.

Softening isn’t weakness. It’s the most powerful kind of strength. It’s the return to who you truly are—unarmored, alive, and real.

✨ Embody Your True Essence✨ Virgo Season — The Body is Our Teacher

Virgo Season — The Body is Our Teacher

Each zodiac season shines a light on a different part of life. Sometimes it’s the mind, sometimes the heart, sometimes relationships. As the Sun moves through Virgo, the focus comes back to the body — the vessel that carries us, teaches us, and reflects the harmony (or disharmony) within. 🌿

Virgo energy is discerning. It notices what’s out of balance. It wants to tend, refine, and create alignment. Sometimes that shows up in how we treat our body. Sometimes it surfaces in our habits, our daily rhythms, or even the way we hold ourselves in conversations and relationships. Virgo whispers: Notice. Tend. Balance.

🌸 The Body as Joy

Today I felt a clear reminder moving through me:

💫 My body is for joy.

💫 My life is for joy.

💫 I don’t need to brace, clench, or grip.

💫 Every part of me works in harmony when I allow, relax, and release.

So often, the body learns to brace — to tighten in response to stress, pressure, or old stories of survival. Virgo season is an invitation to speak directly to the body and remind it: you are safe now. The more I soften, the more I remember that my body is not a burden to carry but a source of joy.

🌌 Balance from the Inside Out

The work is not to add more to the to-do list or carry extra weight. The real work is letting go. Allowing the body to guide me back into balance from the inside out.

When I relax my grip, I notice that radiance flows naturally. Caring for myself becomes less about “fixing” and more about listening, nourishing, and honoring. I look radiant outside when I feel aligned inside. And when I tend to the inside, the outside responds.

🌟 Showing Up Beyond the Algorithm

Even when the algorithm hides, I keep showing up. I trust that my effort is never wasted. Every post is not just content — it’s embodied practice. Every live is not just performance — it’s presence.

Virgo teaches us that showing up with care, devotion, and balance is its own reward. The ripple always lands, even if we can’t see it in the moment. Each step, each share, is a part of the greater balance.

💫 Affirmation for Virgo Season

“My body is for joy.

My life is for joy.

I don’t need to brace, clench, or grip.

Every part of me works in harmony when I allow, relax, and release.”

✨ This Virgo season, may you notice what your body is teaching you. May you tend with balance. And may you remember that embodiment is not about carrying more — it’s about living the joy you already are.

🌟 I Am the Lighthouse

I am the Lighthouse.

I sense everything.

I feel everything.

I hear everything.

I smell everything.

I see everything.

This body is alive with awareness. My fascia, my breath, my presence—every fiber of me is a receptor, a channel, a tuning fork to the world around me. I do not numb myself to life; I let it flow through.

But here is the key:

I don’t resist what I feel.

And I don’t carry what I sense.

Because my body is for joy. ✨

As the Lighthouse, I shine.

I filter.

I do not hold.

Every voice, every sensation, every ripple of energy moves through me. What is distortion passes. What is truth stays.

This is my way of being—embodied presence. Not bracing, not carrying, not overburdened. Simply radiating, filtering, and standing as light.

This is not just a mantra—it’s a practice of fascia, of life, of sovereignty. Anyone can learn to be the Lighthouse: to feel fully, filter gracefully, and shine without carrying the weight of the world.

🌟 The Frequency of 26 — Integrity, Devotion, and Radiant Permanence

Numbers carry vibration. Degrees in astrology are not random—they are frequencies, codes, and initiations.

For me, 26 is a living number. It’s not just a degree on a chart. It is a frequency that has followed me, shaped me, and taught me what it means to embody truth.

✨ What Does 26 Mean?

At its core, 26 weaves three frequencies together:

  • 2 → “I Feel” (Cancer)

The number of sensitivity, intuition, and the ability to sense currents beneath the surface.

  • 6 → “I Receive” (Libra)

The number of balance, grace, harmony, and receptivity in relationships.

  • 2 + 6 = 8 → Infinity and Power

When 2 and 6 merge, they create the eternal loop—the power to anchor presence through time.

So 26 is not a fleeting spark. It is integrity made visible.

It is devotion. It is consistency. It is the lived embodiment of truth, day after day.

🌌 26° in the Stars

Many generations carry the Galactic Center (the heart of our galaxy) at 26° Sagittarius. It’s a broadcasting portal, a cosmic amplifier.

I was born with my Sun at 26° Libra, exactly square that point.

That means my essence is directly woven into the dance between:

  • Libra → Balance, justice, beauty

  • Sagittarius → Cosmic wisdom, galactic truth

My role is not just to receive the cosmic downloads—it’s to translate them. To embody them. To ground the infinite into the human.

🌹 The Lessons of 26

26 teaches me every day that:

  • Integrity is non-negotiable. My body itself responds when I betray truth—my fascia tightens, my field distorts.

  • Devotion is my path. My life is not about sudden performance but about steady presence, showing up again and again in love and leadership.

  • Consistency is power. True mastery is not a one-time event—it is the radiance that deepens as you continue to stand in truth, no matter what.

🌟 26 as Radiant Permanence

When you live 26, you don’t chase the light—you become the Lighthouse.

You don’t bend to distortion—you reveal truth by standing in integrity.

You don’t burn out—you glow brighter over time, because devotion fuels you.

This is the essence of Radiant Permanence.

It is the destiny of those who carry 26° activations in their charts, and it is the invitation for all of us when the sky lights up these degrees.

✨ Mantra for the Frequency of 26

“I embody integrity.

I live in devotion.

I radiate with consistency.

My truth is permanent, my light eternal.

I am the Lighthouse.”

Flowing Water Never Stagnates: Emotions, Fascia, and the Art of Moving Through Life

There’s a Japanese saying my junior high school teacher once told me:

流れる水は濁らない。

Nagareru mizu wa nigoranai.

It means: “Flowing water never stagnates.”

When water keeps moving, it stays clear. But when it becomes stuck, when it pools without circulation, it grows muddy and heavy.

This teaching has stayed with me, and today, it unfolded in a new way.

Emotions as Flow

Emotions are waves of water inside us. They rise and fall, crash and dissolve. Just like the ocean, sometimes the current is smooth and calming, other times wild and overwhelming. But as long as we allow them to move, they remain pure.

It’s only when we resist, hold back, or stagnate that emotions become muddy. Not because they’re bad, but because they’re not moving.

Allowing emotions to flow doesn’t mean pushing or forcing them. It simply means not damming the river. Not trying to hold back what naturally wants to move through.

Fascia as Rivers in the Body

Our fascia — the connective tissue that holds everything in the body together — is also like water. Supple fascia flows like a living river, carrying signals, nutrients, and energy with ease. When fascia is stagnant, bound up, or stuck, it feels muddy, heavy, or painful.

Fascial maneuvers remind us of this truth. When we move, breathe, and soften into our tissues, we allow the rivers to flow again. We create clarity in the body, just like flowing water creates clarity in a stream.

Movement as Medicine

Movement is not just exercise. It is a spiritual and emotional practice.

• When we move, we let emotions stream through us.

• When we move, we remind our fascia that it is alive and fluid.

• When we move, we become like water — clear, supple, and unstoppable.

Even when life feels messy, chaotic, or heavy, the invitation is not to shut down. The invitation is simply: move.

Because moving water never stagnates. And neither do we, when we choose to stay in motion.

A Closing Reflection

Today, I remember that moving is good. Moving is healing. Moving is who I am.

Like the rivers, like the oceans, like the streams — I flow. I soften. I move.

And in that flow, my emotions, my fascia, my spirit all stay clear.

Much love,

Ikue | Dance & Fascia Oracle™💃💞
